On my DVD cover (UK)it says "Tobe Hooper's original uncut" so what I wanted to ask is what was cut from the film prior to this? Mrs Voorhees is watching you!

Nothing was cut-The film was actualy banned for around 25 years by then BBFC head the late James Fermann.Fermann banned the film because basically,he didn't like it.He wasn't able to specify what it was,and settled for saying that the film focused strongly on a woman in terror,which is sorta like complaining that rambo had too much guns. The cut scenes was the meat hook scene and the scene when Leatherface is cutting up Kirk. All work and no fun makes Rest a dull boy.
