It gets too much hate, because most people don't get that its a comedy. Don't expect it to be the original when you watch it and you'll probably like it. Personally, I love it, its one of my faveorite movies. And like somebody already said, watch the commentary with Bill Moseley...its hilarious! http://www.justiceforgage.com

TCM 2 is, at heart, a none-too-subtle satire of several facets of '80s excess. Dennis Hopper's performance as a Texas Ranger gone over the edge is effectively brilliant. 10/10. A fantastic Horror/Comedy. -Never Mind the Bollocks resident cynic of the IMDb
