I'm 4 weeks along today and I ust be honest, I think I'm worrying myself into the looney bin! This is my first pregnancy and I never imagined the fear that would set in after my BFP! I do not have a history of m/c, but I do in my family. Both my aunt and my sister have. Plus, two of my close friends have both experienced them in the past 6 months. So, my bbs are a little sore (not bad at all...

[hug] It can be hard not to worry. If it helps you feel better, many women don't experience symptoms till about 6 weeks (I've read that's the average), so it sounds like your pregnancy's actually off to a pretty strong start!

There are no requisite number of symptoms...and you are still REALLY early--I bet most people felt NO symptoms yet![L] For me, I was obsessive for the first month or so of knowing, and then my obsessiveness calmed down immensely. Try to keep yourself really busy with other things might help. Good luck and enjoy this exciting time!

I experienced almost NOTHING until 10 weeks. The only thing I had were slightly sore BBs that would come and go, and then something our group coined as "construction zone" uterus. It feels like your period is always about to start, cramping, bloating, feeling like you need to go check NOW, etc. That was the main symptom. Now at 16.5 weeks, I have sore boobs and am still nauseous even with the ...

you are everso early for the symptoms. i was only sore under my arms at your stage - no sickness, no real boob pain, etc. i had a few crampy feelings, like af was on the way, but that was it. i do understand how you are feeling because i felt the same way. like kitcatherine said, take it one day at a time. I agree that it's way early for symptoms. I didn't have any real symptoms until about 5.5 weeks when the m/s started to kick in... Even then, I only had nausea (bad nausea) until 8 weeks... I spotted and cramped and was terrified that I was losing the baby. I had NO reason to think I would, but like you I knew several people with recurrent m/c's and it was scary. What helped me the most was ...

This is my fourth baby and I am about a week or so in front of you. I took another test today (have no idea why, it was just comforting). So that is proof that the worry never goes away. You absolutely have to be hopefully realistic. The truth is plenty of pgncies don't make it too much further past where we both are. This could be a non-viable pgncy for either of us. Our embyros could well be '...

I wholeheartedly agree with the person who said you just have to take one day at a time and enjoy being pregnant on each day. I know it's pretty much impossible not to worry. With my first, I was so afraid of enjoying myself because I didn't want to have "false hope" and then get disappointed. I was afraid to look at baby stuff or browse maternity clothes for fun, because I was afraid I would ...

Early on in my pregnancy, I read somebody post that "you're pregnant until somebody tells you you're not," which I actually felt was really comforting. It gave me license to be excited and enjoy each day, even though nobody could promise me everything would be ok. Unfortunately, the first trimester can be a really anxious time (it was for me), but there's just nothing you can do to see into the...

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! This is when I think surprise pregnancies where you don't figure out that you are pregnant until at least 10 weeks or so are great! [L] I have a couple of suggestions on this one. For me, I literally tried to put it in God's hands. The truth is that there is NOTHING that you can do to alter this outcome. If you are goingn to miscarry, then you are, and most ...
