OK I will pipe up here..... I did not hear a Sheltie mentiond here at all..... I know they will not guard........ Hmmmmmm But they are sturdy and well documented for hearding in even the roughest places on this earth. They are quick due to their size and learn real quick.... I think an Entelbucher is a great choice! Enjoy your pup! I also think the Rottweilers are underused as working/stock dogs...and they thrive on it. There was a man at the beach yesterday who had a 15 week old Maremma pup. CUTE!

But both are very good at what they do....
