It's hard to estimate what you'll have to pay as it can vary a lot from company to company. As an under 25 yo male, expect to pay at least $1400 a year to start (it'll be close to $1400 if you're lucky). What I'd do is use the free online rate quotes from as many companies as you like to get an idea. Define a basic set of coverage and deductibles so you can compare apples to apples....

Hm I don't know. I had about 3 speeding tickets, an unsafe driving and 2 accidents but my car insurance as an 18 year old female in NJ was only $1200 a year. Most car insurers only ask about your last five years of driving history though so when I get it again I'll have a cleaner slate.

You should shop around. Different places have different ways of calculating your insurance. I have progressive, personally, and am pleased with the cheapness of it. Generally only things within the last 3 years should matter, but again each places does it differently. Tried putting everything into Geico and, I shit you not, their recommended coverage does not include collision or comprehensive. They are pretty much saving that if I crash my car bad enough to need any kind of real repairs, I should just forget it because, man, it's gone.
