Honestly, I do agree. They were originally going to release it in August, but for some stupid ass reason, they decided to put it out a week before what is being hailed by some as the best movie of the year. Not very good on Universal's part. I'm going to see this on Friday, but my main focus is next Friday's spectacle.

Guillermo del Torro made this one pretty elaborate. He worked his Pan's Labrynth magic real good on this one! I trust this is gonna be pretty awesome. It's rotten tomato rating is 100 percent along with The Dark Knight. So, It seem this one is gonna be pretty good!

I don't know.. you could be right, but it could surprise us. It doesn't have a lot of competition; an awful looking Eddie Murphy film (yeah, I know they always make a ton of cash, but hopefully people will wake up eventually), and a week old Will Smith film who's bad word of mouth should lead to a major drop-off.

I think that HB2 could be a sleeper hit, kind of like the first one. I mean the thing is that it has a good buzz going. My sister, who hasn't even seen the first one said "That it looks awesome." The real problem is that it's up against the Dark Knight. Hellboy 2 will have one good weekend before Batman knocks it down. Iron man only had to compete with speed racer.

The trailer was in front of BOTH "Iron Man" and "Indiana Jones", at least where I saw them. (At AMC and Regal) And just watch TV, there is some pretty agressive marketing... I have seen at least 3 TV-spots for it every day for the past month, and if you watch USA, you've seen HB at least a dozen or so times, in these really good goofy promos.
