There is a new version of Fraps out that has corrected a lot of problems with Vista/DX10 (DX10 is now fully supported and there are fixes for some DX9 issues as well). I know some people can't run Fraps and TSO at the same time so maybe that is fixed as well (please do check). Registered users should have recieved an update e-mail but mine was flagged as spam so I didn't see it right away. ...

Hmm hopfully this helps, I tried using the full version of FRAPs (2.8.2) on Vista and it just grinds my computer to a stop (starts using all CPU for some reason)

I'm in the market. I like my Razer Diamondback, but it isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, and the way the side buttons are laid out they aren't entirely useable for me. So, has anyone tried either of these mice and have some impressions to share? The G9 is on the left, the Sidewinder in the middle. 0,1425,sz=1&i=171320,00.jpg

That G9 is one ugly looking mouse. It doesn't seem like it would be comfortable. I really like the older Logitech design.

G9 is not worth any of your time. I bought an MX518, by far the best mouse ever. Adjustable sensativity and programable buttons all over. 200DPI Also, not retardedly shaped.

A lot of folks are questioning the legit ness of that 3dmark score and some other things from the article, which is why I didn't post a link to that last week. Figured I would wait till they had some confirmation from other sources. Click through to the actual article and read all the comments.

Anything above 60 is nice. It seems to me that I might have to decide between the 9600GT and a 8800GS since they are both about the same price.

Just wanted to say I *love* this G9. It is the perfect size for fingertip mouse control. It is also very comfortable, extremely customizable. Two thumbs up from me!

haha birdie mature, he is old but not mature, jk on topic I've been looking at this and the 8800GT, the performance and price on each is pretty close and I guess its just a matter of picking, if I do get a new card since my 7800GT is starting to crash on me (the drivers fail during a game but restart and I get back under way). 8800GT - $196.99 the MSI would seem like the best bet with the 8800GT 9600GT - $179.99 most likely the evga any...

I had a MX518 and upgraded it to the revision 2 G5 mouse. Its the same mouse except with laser instead of optical, a three way middle mouse button, and a weight cartridge. It is much better then the MX518, except pushing the mouse wheel down takes getting use to (i.e: not as reliable).
