Best Night Sights? I know everyone has their own preference with night sights. I have never bought any before and they all look pretty good. Trijicon, Dawson, and TruGlo. I personally think the TruGlo look pretty cool, but never have seen them on a gun.

My only problem id that the TFO does not have different colors for the front/rear..all three points are green...otherwise I would be jumping at the TFOs __________________ "What the hell is an aluminum falcon ?"

I like my Trijicons, but they seemed to be very similar to the Meprolights that I had on before. I didn't notice much difference in function or appearance.

I'm not an expert and cant say which is best because I've only had experience with one type and that's Heinie Straight Eight(SlantPro) tritium night sights. They are very easy to line up quickly and quite bright in absolute darkness. You can read up on them at their site link below. Here are some pics, I took of them in action-they are brighter than the pics detail but still they give you a general idea of how they work....

TFOs will always get the vote from most people who try them because they are so good in daylight conditions. Sights like Trijicon that do not use a fiber optic tube in conjunction with Tritium do not give as bright a sight in non dark conditions. Sights like the XS 24/7 use a small Tritium tube inside a larger white dot which helps during daylight but a lot of shooters do not like not having the 3 dot horizontal alignment. I have never seen...
