Hi. It kind of seems like a PSU limit with the way your describing it. But, I have the same PSU as you, and have had 2x 9600GT's in SLI, with the Quad and all the other hardware, and it ran fine. And the 4850 really doesn't use that much power. That charts I see it says at full load, it's only using ~240watts. So I really find it hard to believe it's you PSU. Quote: Do ...

Hey, the here now factor is sometimes the deal breaker. I understand that fully. As far as the Mobo 4 pin. On my EVGA board, it has one too. From what I've been reading about them, they are mainly to supply extra power to the PCI-E slots just in case you have a SLI setup, or high demanding graphics cards. So it seems if there was anytime to use it, it would be now, right? But, I've also read...

I've had it about a year. I built the system back in March 2007. Everything is running fine except for the fan on the current card. After posting on here I found a forum post on another forum talking about some of the Best Buy cards having 6-pin connector shorts. So, I took the card back and replaced it with a different new one. I'm going to power off my system and see how things go. I'...

I've read those things don't do well in benchmarks, but in real game play, they are absolutely awesome. Have you checked you temps on your card yet? Is it running hot? Have you installed the hot patched drivers yet? I'm curious to know what kind of affect(if any) that has on performance.
