I had the pleasure of working with Cormac in Radio 3 - He would often turn up in some very brightly coloured waistcoats ! Extremely knowlegable guy, and the perfect gent. Sadly I recognise the picture only too well - Main control room, broadcasting house extension, probably circa 1975-ish. Worse, I spent many hours ensconced in those very chairs awaiting activity on the equipment "...

Cormac had great diction a wonderful radio voice, something lacking these days. There still are some wonderful BBC voices though. For example Julian Marshall from the BBC Worldservice. Peter

Does anyone recognise the man on the left of the photo? Was he the controller of Radio 3 in those days?
