I did a search and came up with nothing I am looking for a good 8 Point roll cage (would prefer a removable side bar also) for my T-type with T-Tops. Bar will be welded in also. Hopping this will stiffen things up a bit. I have found some universal types but would prefer something that will be a little easier to put in the car. anyone have any ideas A buddy said Wolfe Race Craft but they dont ...

I installed a kit from S & W race cars over the winter. It took a little cutting/grinding to get a good fit but I was very happy with it. They sell a swing out option & a pro street rear strut option. I went with neither but had the rear struts bent locally to go through the package tray(they come straight). I've seen quite a few custom bent kits that dont fit as well.

i have an S&W 10 point cage insatlled in my car. i think that any "kit" you buy will still have to be cut, bent and notched to fit perfect. it took 2 days to install mine, and this was done by a professional fabricator and welder. i got the bars that go through the package tray as well. i think that even if you go with a mild steel setup it should be TIG welded. better control of heat, cleaner, ...

I got the photos! Looks great! Thanks for all the info guys! One more question what did they Fab guy charge to put your bar in?? did you use the Chromoly tube or the Standared?? Dont think I am going past the 8 point for as I drive this thing to much in the summer hence the want or need for the removable side bars. Problem is someone told me the removable side bars are not legal at the track??...

The fab guy was me with a chop saw, die grinder and plasma cutter. Never done anything like this before & it was relatively easy. I got the kit under the winter special (mild steel) for $140 plus $90 freight and had the rear struts bent locally for $20. I didn't install the kickers so I only have a six point. A friend welded it in for me so all in all I have about $250 in it as opposed to the $1300 I was quoted for a mild steel custom...
