What are you using for a GPS? | Thread profile

I'm looking to purchasing a GPS for the bike.. Garmin makes a few motorcycle friendly ones.. I'm not too keen on the TomTom's. I heard they're great for Europe but really lack in the North American region. I'm looking to spend about $300.. can probably push $400 if it's worth it. What is everyone using? I would have loved to search.. but "GPS" is too short

Try entering "gps*" with the asterisk at the end.

I picked up a Garmin Streetpilot 2720 from Ebay. It's a bit chunky, but cheap and cheerful.

I have an older Garmin Streepilot 2610 and in a lot of ways, it's better than the Zumo 550 we just bought. You can buy them brand new for less than $150 on eBay.

Nuvi 250W, awesome on the bike and the truck, well worth every dollar.

garmin iQue 3000 and a garmin etrex legend. (the ique does turn by turn mapping, the legend is great on off roading).

Im using a $150 Tom tom from bestbuy.. I travel all over North America and it has not done me wrong yet... (I forget the model but it is the cheapest one they have.)
