How do you get over the fear of leaning the bike in corners. I start to "panic" and then I want to take the bike out of the lean but I have no choice but to keep it leaned. I hear about people leaning this bike and scrapping their pegs.

I think practice is the only way to get over it. Just don't push too hard too fast. Take your time and learn your bike's limits a little at a time. I personally love to lean hard and scrape my pegs (or metal parts) a little bit. It's a lot of fun as long as it's done safely. I generally get to know the bike pretty well before doing this and start out with my toes pointed down a bit on the peg...

You can touch the pegs on the 250. This bike is meant to be "flickable" as I have heard. I had a lot of fun on a curvy road and built up some confidence and then driving to work my back tire broke loose as I was stopping and I almost hit a car, but ended up between two cars at a stoplight. That knocked me down a few notches - :P

Often fear of leaning can be cured...by riding a bicycle again. Yeah, remember leaning that stingray way over? Honestly, just work into it on the bike. Find a place you can feel good with varied speeds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGY-kLYKqSY

don't fight the bike when it wants to lean. trust your tires, there's plenty of lean left. Even when i'm on the track, dragging knee there's still a good amount of lean left in the tires. remember that you motorcycle is faster than you are. that doesn't mean to go out and ride like a fool, though...
