So yesterday wasn't even that hot out, but I came out after work (a 5 hour shift) and found my kick stand sunk in a good 2 inches in the ground! I've heard about this happening and I'm just wondering what you guys do to remedy this when you have to park your bike outside for a couple hours in a parking lot.

I keep a little chunk of plywood in my bike for situations like that. It is about 3" x 2" and does the trick..

Got away with using one of the girlfriend's flip-flops last weekend (she packed them in her bagpack). We took a ride to Port Dalhousie and parked on the grass under some trees. The Harley riders that parked there waved us in and told us not to waste our time looking for a parking spot. Now THAT's creative thinking!

I use a pop can but I think i might switch to Red1's frozen juice container method, it has fewer sharp edges. Quote: Originally Posted by Red1 I have the plastic puck. But if I forget that I carry some of those frozen juice container lids.

i just stuck one of the coasters i have lying around the house underneath my seat. It's not that thick, been has been doing the job. You don't need to use it all the time.. just when parking on asphalt (am I correct here?) Luckily my work parking lot is concrete
