I wish we could help you with this decision, but only you know what is best. Has your vet given you any advice, and are they able to make her comfortable? I know with some diseases, it always looks bleak at the onset,and things can get better. I know nothing about SLE, so I have no words of wisdom for you, only my sympathy. i am so sorry your pup has this. only you can make the desicion you see her everyday and know if she is suffering. i would get a second opinion for sure and possibly take her to a vet school or university if that is possible. good luck again...so sorry

I took her to two vets and I talked to the university on the phone. The treatment is the same. They say that it is very interesting for such a young puppy to be in such a condition. They want to make some tests but she is tired of tests. Wow, I just can't even fathom what you are going through. I am so very sorry! I too, do not know a thing about SLE. I wish I could help you make this decision but I cannot. Good luck and you are in my prayers.

I'm so very sorry for your pain. This is the part of being an animal lover that I hate. Only you know your baby the best and from loving her only you can know what is best for her. So sorry you are going through this. It sounds like a terrible disease. You will know when the time is right for her to go, if at all. Talk to the vet again. Good luck. We will be thinking about you and your pup.
