I've known that for a long time. I eat a piece of raw ginger or boil a bit of ginger powder in a 'tea' when I'm feeling nauseous. Usually helps.

I can't stand the taste, which sucks because I have chronic nausea. Peppermint works too. I take a peppermint leaf or tissue scented with peppermint oil with me on long car rides.

My daughter swears by ginger tea for nausea...must be something to it! I will try it next time I'm nauseaous...luckily for me, I'm almost never nauseous because I don't like ginger, either!

Yeah I agree that the taste isn't that good...but I bear with it because it works. After a while I got used to the taste and I don't mind it so much now.

I've been hearing this for years. They recommend ginger ale for pregnant women and make ginger lollipops. But for me, ginger would cause nausea. I'm not a fan of ginger. Peppermint does work. I do have ginger tea that isn't bad, I admit.

I take ginger powder in veg capsules so I don't have to taste them. But they really work for me on plane rides and other motion-related activities. I used to eat crystallized ginger for motion sickness, but now the taste of ginger makes me nauseous- go figure!

I buy candied ginger slices from Trader Joes and always have them handy. But those capsules sound great too.
