I bought a Glock 26 about 9 months ago. This is the only Glock I have ever owned. I now have 3555 rounds through it with 9 malfunctions. The breakout is as follows: 2 failures to eject 1 failure to extract 3 failures to fire - light off-center primer strike 3 failures to feed In several of these, I believe a contributing factor was a loose grip. I think 3 of the failures were ...

I allow for 2 that are not mag, ammo or me related..The first one is strike 2 and when the second one occurs, It's off the the market for a new one...And that means from the time I open the box and shoot it...

You should not be experiencing that level of failure rate with a G26 unless you were using crappy ammunition. If the majority of your malfunctions were with the remanufactured ammo and the +2 magazine, I would revert to stock magazines and fire factory fresh ammo only (as it appears you've done). If you still experience issues with the gun, I would contact Glock's customer service and ...

Just a friendly non-expert response ... Quote: Am I being too critical of the Glock? Perhaps. Potential conditions that could have contributed to and/or caused your reported functioning issues: Quote: use of remanufactured range ammo. I can't recount all of the functioning ...

I'd say your fine, but learn some clearance drill and you'll survive the impending gunfight. Nothing is 100%, not even a Glock.

Trade that sucker in for a 19. My 19 is coming up on 5,000 and nary a single FTF, FTE FTAnything. Dang, prolly time for a new recoil spring... For the record the 26 is a little more snappy, you might just wanna check it over for burrs or any spots that might need some polishing/sand papering.

Dear sir, I am sorry to hear of your misfortune. It is obvious that your 26 is a totally unreliable lemon. I will give you $200 for it, as seed money toward a truly excellent pistol. What say you?
