Just brilliant. Bosingwa to Chelsea, and there's good chance Lahm will sign for United, while we'll have Philip Degen as our right back next season. So, that's a top quality right back AND left back that the other Top 3 have, that we don't. And after all this, we are expected to challenge for the title.

Quote from: Raunchy on Yesterday at 06:08:04 AM How is this Degen guy anyway? You mean who is he? Or is he any good? If its the first one, he's a Swiss RB who plays for Borussia Dortmund, and that we have apparantly signed on a Bosman. If its the second one, he's not that good really. Quote from: Raunchy on Yesterday at 06:08:04 AM How is this Degen guy anyway? Well he is not 1st Choice for Dortmund neither for the Swiss National Team. Atleast Voronin was 1st Choice for Leverkusen and Ukraine. So you can understand how good he will be.

Quote from: zimmie5555 on Yesterday at 06:14:49 AM Because of course Degen will be first choice wont he? Who will be then? Arbeloa isn't really world class either.

Bosingwa is the best right back in the world imo & I expect this to be proved when he moves to a Premier League club. Over priced but a great signing for Chelsea if true. There is some tremendous talent in that Porto side and we could do a lot worst than taking Quaresma (to name 1) off there hands. I have previously posted a few weeks ago how good a signing Bosingwa would've been for ...
