QUOTE (iraqi_shia @ Aug 5 2008, 08:37 AM) and your preference for unrefferenced stories and urban myths amazes me. go and ask an Aalim to get the reference QUOTE Show us where the Imams AS made cradles and hands and danced around horses etc etc. if u call that dancing, then i call your rubbish posts here as nothing but virtual diarrhea show me where they wore western...

Okay eventhough no one's explained this to me I think I may understand it. If the persons present in this type of gathering were there to deify any of the Imams or anything linked with them; I would totally quote QUOTE It sounds like the type of innovation that is ruining shiasm, ...

Im glad you all agree and realise that these practices are separate from the religion, and no teaching of the religion has mentioned any such practice. It appears to be a cultural thing. QUOTE But if the persons present were either making a symbolic point or telling stories of the Imams as.gif with good intentions, then there is no fault at all. They appear to be be trying to ...

QUOTE (iraqi_shia @ Aug 5 2008, 07:11 PM) Im glad you all agree and realise that these practices are separate from the religion, and no teaching of the religion has mentioned any such practice. Your perception is skewed. It is the heart and soul of religion. Symbolism. Read mdm's post. QUOTE they didnt make bollywood films and walk on hot coals etc etc. when you do ...
