All, I wanted to let you know today was the Tour de Cure, for American Diabetes ride in Las Vegas, Nevada. For those that remember Bob Babbitt, aka the Walrus, we rode in Bob\'s memory. I am Bob\'s brother-in-law and I decided to form a team to ride the Tour de Cure. We chose the name, "Team Walrus", and there were 10 members riding. There are several people that helped put this together ...

I didn\'t know Bob Babbitt, but I\'ve done the Tour de Cure for the last three years in Arkansas. The support has been amazing and it\'s allowed me among the top individual fundraisers in the US. It\'s a very good cause and nearly everyone knows someone who is impacted by the disease.

Great way to honor the memory of your Brother-n-law. I am doing my first charity ride this October in honor of my mom and family. Somehow it just feels like the right thing to do. Good job with the fundraising. I can only hope to get that close.
