That looks really nice, but I am curious if you used any kind of sealant [clear coat] to prevent oxidation? Also what media did you use?

Media was apparently plastic beads, as I was told by a co-worker who ran the machine all the time (back in the days when I could take a bike to work and have someone bead-blast it while getting paid by the company ). It's 100% bare, never had a bit of clearcoat on it. It's 8 years old now, beaten to death on just about every ride, so I don't think leaving it bare caused any problems. BTW:...
