You know when I joined this site it surprised me how much negative talk there was about LA but I can see why some of it starts now. It appears that from many viewpoints he is the only cyclist in the world. I think I will just say this, who cares if he comes back? I enjoyed this years tour just as much without him as I did with him.

I started that way and then started cheering for the underdog yet knowing he couldnt win but vandevelde was just so funny in his interviews it was tough not to wish him well.
