i need some computer help please | Thread profile

a couple of weeks ago, in a moment of desperation to get some files (that i accidentally deleted off of my hard drive) back...i did some stupid shit to my laptop. basically, i'm trying to reinstall the windows components back from add/remove programs and apparently i have a lot of .dll files (and some other kinds also) missing so it won't re-install the windows ...

If you have your installation cd, there is a feature to reinstall your registry. I unfortunately forgot the steps.

This gives me nightmares - i had the same problem a long while back & everything messed up big time!

Throw your computer in the bin. Problem solved.
