....all the sudden my computer acts like I don't even have a CD/DVD drive at all. It used to ask what you wanted to do as soon as you put a disk in. Now it won't ask, and it also won't play from them at all. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem. It can still read CD's and all but it only reads DVDs once in a while... You should get a comp. tech to take a look at it...hence, I should do the same. The tooth fairy is to blame for prostitution; she taught us to sell our body for money.

Make sure you have the proper drivers for it. If you don't - download them. If you do - check the hardware. Wiring etc, so nothing has come loose or been worn out. If that's all good, then you'll need to buy a new one. Sometimes I wish I was a lesbian. Did I say that out loud?

I was hoping not to have to pay to get it fixed, but I guess I'll have to. Mine is not playing anything at all, and even the play or eject buttons on the keyboard don't do anything. Oh well...... I was really excited cuz I just got a Zune, but now I can't put CD's on there.

I agree. Check to see if you can get a driver update. The hardware shouldn't have anything to do with it though, since you should still be able to at least see the drive via the comps internal memory. __________________________________ This post sponsored by the letters F & U

It should be your D: or E: drive, most likely. The internal drive is usually C: __________________________________ This post sponsored by the letters F & U
