Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum Im a swede who lives in china, but I plan to go to Cebu or other places of PH maybe twice a year(cost only about 90Euro for the tickets). I would like to know which styles its possible to train in Cebu, everything are of interest Thanks for all your helps, /Martin

There are lots of opportunities in Cebu .. - Diony Canete - Cacoy Canete - Carin Brothers - Edring Casio - ... - Nick Elizar - Sergio - Maranga - Abner Pasa - Ondo Caburnay - YawYan, Tapado, ... lots and lots of possibilities...

Thanks for the input, Seems as thier are alot of fun stuff if you just find it Usally how do you train with these masters, is it like a small backyard group or ordinary classes? I prefeer the backyard training but its harder to find I guess? Also how much does these teachers take for privat tution? I really want to train but I dont have a big budget.

Let me add the Velez Brothers (Chito, Monie and Eddie) to the list. Highly skilled Balintawak masters and great source of information.

As I remember Sergio does not speak English so you would need a translator to accompany you (unless you speak / understand cebuano of course), also his place is rather off the beaten track. I would highly reccommend training with Master Wilson Ceniza from Teovels balintawak. His explanation and depth of technique are second to none. Indeed training with Wilson myself helped to put a lot of flesh...
