I just received a call that Eddie Ivester, a fellow penchak silat practitioner and the head instructor of the ICS silat program died this past wednesday at his home in Mississippi.. He had trained with several silat instructors and I had the privilege of meeting him while in Chicago where he did a seminar at one of my student's schools.. Oh God...I knew Mr Ivester over the web, we have had many a friendly debate over Silat. I'm very sorry to hear this. My deepest condolences.

Once I get more information from my student in the states, such as funeral date, and sending flowers, I will keep the pesilats of this forum informed.. I also will post more info as to what caused his death once I get it..
