we were instructed to do contour drawing of ourselves, looking in a mirror. We were not supposed to look at the paper and we were not supposed to take our pens off the paper. Oh, joy. these are fantastic sonni! you do learn a lot from doing them. it used to make me ache 'not to pick up the pencil/pen'..the first time i did this was in junior high, we had a great teacher, she was my fav. she had us doing this each and every day no matter what we were doing for the rest of the class..i still use it. your skull is fab too. dawn

Hey Sonni, I've had to do that before and ended up with a squiggle mess, yours look pretty consistent to me. Skull looks great. Where are you gonna hang him come Holloween???!!!

very good work considering it your first time doing them The first few times are really difficult doing those blind contour exercises but keep with it, it does wonders.

Good going Sonni I found it very difficult to draw without looking its hard enough using all my facilities! I think I would recognise you from any of these although I am not sure about the skull

Thanks folks. I have pretty good perifial (did I spell that right?) vision (it came with the territory of once having been a mother) so I could tell where my hand was roughly going though I couldn't see the actual marks. The first ones (which I didn't show) were all over the map. Sure, Trevor. I plan to wear one of the first two as a mask on hallowe'en and go trick or treating. Of course...
