this time we learned about drapery/clothing and after the short poses where to concentrate on the fabric more than on the model. Astonishing how hard it is to draw cloth, a valuable exercise! Neat too, since I don't need a model to work on this! C&C always welcome. One more class to go until summer break, then I probably can only make it to the open studio w/o instruction in late summer/...

a lot hard and soft edges. It takes looking, time and practice. A good exercise by your teacher.

Drapery adds an extra skin to a model thats why I insist they go nude much easier in my opinion. Looks like you are getting a round education so you have lots to practice on then during summer break, eh?

it's been challenging but also lots of fun. Of course nude is easier and for open studio etc makes more sense too, as anybody has fabric at home, but not many have the money to pay for their own private models. Lots to practice, that's for sure! Got me some good books recently that should help me too~~
