I can't see Andre winning this one, Fedor round 1 via Submission.

Fedor can win with varing finishes, Andre really is going to go with a KO only If Roy Nelson can take him down , imagine what Fedor will do in that kind of dominating position.

It's the least interesting fight that they could have made, Barnett would have had a good scrap versus Emelianenko.

I knew Barnett and Fedor had met up for a "business lunch" recently but I was the under the impression from the outset Andre vs Fedor was the fight to take place at the next Affliction show? Was this...

Well, it was on a radio show I heard this week at some point. Barnett had said he didn't feel he was offered enough, which I can well imagine as he isn't a name in the US. Ideally Barnett will now face Sylvia, and knock him out. at leats then he'll have a bit more bargaining power in trying to set up a fight with Emelianenko.

He's never fought Fedor. That would, normally, be enough of a reason to schedule the fight, but with Arlovski also never having fought him and he is a far bigger name I can see why they would put the fight on, and it should have been their first choice (when you consider the business sid of it).
