Two-point Conversion Attempt Prop | Thread profile

The sportsbooks where I bet this prop have graded it as a loss based on the failed extra point kick attempt after the first IND touchdown. This has apparently been deemed as an attempt for a two-point conversion. I and everybody else who bet this prop are about to get screwed by this decision. The source for the information that the sportsbooks are basing their decisions...

I posted some stuff in this thread also. The official game book has Indy attempting 3 Extra Point Kicks and making 2.

On the play there was no extra point kick due to the botched snapped. The kicker than tried to run it in for the 2-point conversion. He was tackled short of the goal line. Score it a failed 2-point conversion. Vinatieri did not miss the PAT nor did he attempt to kick it. Therefore what was it? If Vinatieri had run it in, the scoring would have been a successful 2 point ...

There were bets around town that said 'will there be a missed extra point" Yes. Unless there was specific language that said there HAS to be a kick, there are two ways to miss an extra pt, one by a botched snap and 2, you actually kick it wide. Indy missed the extra point, there was no attempt for 2 points there imo.

This one is going to get interesting over the next few days. From what I can gather, the way it should be officially scored is as a failed 2 point conversion attempt. BUT, most every book in grading these props says where they will get their official info, and that place is almost always NFL .com. So that's all that counts for betting purposes. And they have it listed as ...

The standard way to grade a PAT where no kick is attempted, but the holder either runs or passes is to treat it as a failed 2-pt attempt. I bet the "NO" and lost as well, but it was graded properly.

I guess we might have seen the last of that prop
