The FZ6 was a bike I had to buy. I always said if someone made an all-around standard machine with a factory fairing (no lower please), fuel injection, adequete power, reasonable seat height, etc. I'd buy a new one. The bike I wanted was the old FZ600 the europeans had for about ten years. Well the FZ6 is as close as you can get to a standard with fairing. The SV650 tempted me but the faired ...

I have gotten that "grass is always greener" twinge of guilt now and then but I know I would feel that way about the FZ6 if I had an R6. It's a natural reaction to wonder "what if". Enjoy your ride man, you made an excellent choice.

I have only had mine for a few weeks now so my love afair is only just starting I test rode a few and like many others have said I prefer the riding position of the FZ and similar makes. I jumped on quite a few actually ( FZ6, FZ1, Z750, SV650, CB600F, CBR600RR and a GSXR600 the later 2 just because I could really) and for me the price, performance & quality combo of the FZ6 won it for ...
