08/09 Pre-season Tour | Thread profile

The team will be in Scotland for the pre-season tour in July (21st-26th). Matches will be played on the 24th and the 26th. The team will then return to Barcelona. There are rumors that we will also go to the USA to play 2 friendlies vs MLS teams, one in Chicago and one in New York, but no details are out yet. I'm guessing this will also depend on the CL qualifier matches we have to play...

Great news, this is a chance to get some of our promising youngsters a chance like Thiago, Iago and Assulin. I'm hoping we don't go to USA though, I would like to keep it to Europe this summer, so the players don't have to deal with long flights at the start of the season.

Figured this counts as preseason news. Well, with a trip to Saudi Arabia, then to Scotland, I wonder if the USA tour is out of the question? I guess the trip to Saudi Arabia would be a very short one (2 days max), so maybe there is still room for a 1 week trip to USA???
