I hear a high pitched squeak almost constantly while driving, and I think its the front brakes dragging, but I'm not positive, how can I check/ fix it? also, how do I adjust the ebrake, mine sucks _________________ Red '95 SOHC Sedan mtx ATX tb, AEM intake, Borla header, Magnaflow header-back 3" exhaust, Mopar ski rack.

I know this sounds totally crazy, but maybe you should just take the wheel off and check the brakes visually. _________________ ---Booger Bushings---R/T Ernie---Maddog STS---Fierro Racing---TWI---ARI's cupholder pads---

I did that already. Right after I replaced everything but the calipers when I bought the car. I even lubed the guides _________________ Red '95 SOHC Sedan mtx ATX tb w/ MTX spring and modded shaft, AEM intake, Borla header, Magnaflow header-back 3" exhaust, Mopar ski rack, 8k Cluster w/ carbon overlay, Megan short throw shifter, 22mm ACR front sway bar. so you replaced rotors, pads, lines, and master cylinder? Do pop attitudes with people on this board if you want help. If you realized who you popped off to you probably would of re-thought your post. Just remember his name when you are ready to make some real power and when you need expert advice on the neon. _________________ 1996 Dodge Neon Highline MTX: ATX to MTX conversion, AF/X udp, ...

all but the master cylinder. The way it was said made it sound like I'm sitting in my car hearing a noise, and assuming its a brake drag. I did inspect the brakes visually, thats how we determined they were dragging, just not sure how to fix it _________________ Red '95 SOHC Sedan mtx ATX tb w/ MTX spring and modded shaft, AEM intake, Borla header, Magnaflow header-back 3" exhaust, Mopar ...

my car does the same thing after a day at the track. i was trying to be rude but don't pop attitudes if you want help. Honestly i doubt it would be the master cylinder so i would say the piston in the caliper may be getting stuck. Not to sure how to fix it but i know they make caliper rebuild kits and i believe you can by reman. at autozone or similar place. _________________ 1996 Dodge Neon ...

So yours only does it after going to the track? I wouldn't have ever put itup except recently its been squeeking louder and louder, and its getting to be notice-able drag while driving _________________ Red '95 SOHC Sedan mtx ATX tb w/ MTX spring and modded shaft, AEM intake, Borla header, Magnaflow header-back 3" exhaust, Mopar ski rack, 8k Cluster w/ carbon overlay, Megan short throw ...

I don't know if the drum and disc e-brake is the same, but there's an access hole in the back of the brake cover that gives you access to a star wheel to adjust the e-brake. _________________ ---Booger Bushings---R/T Ernie--- Maddog STS---Fierro Racing---TWI---ARI's cupholder pads---

It sounds like you have a sticking piston,ie, caliper, if only one side is dragging. If both sides, master cylinder or proportioning valve is more suspect, possibly sticking. Any signs of rust in the fluid? I would put new calipers on and bleed the system enough to flush out all the old fluid, because of the age of the car. If you have rear drum brakes, pop the rubber plugs on the rear...
