So does this mean it's destiny for the people who never get married and stay alone? If it's destiny then I'm waiting for the right one to be pushed to me. I thought it was destiny when I got married. Now I dont know what it was. Maybe stupidity. More likely its random connections.

I agree with Jennyann...I met a man who drove over 1600 miles to meet me and we have had opportunities open that I could have never dreamed of. Yes i made the choices to go on that wonderful and memorable vacation but who would of known? I do not believe that I would have had the courage if it had not just happened! I don't believe in destiny - I believe in free will and random chance. However, every choice you make takes you in a certain direction, and so do the choices and experiences of everyone else. What may look like destiny is a culmination of a series of choices and improbable occurences . It is still chance that your choices cause an intersection with those of another person, so that, somehow - you meet!

I think it is a combination of both. I think we are pushed toward certain people, sometimes taking decades to refind them or recognize their true role in our lives and at others, it is personal choice to either go for that person or back away.
