( I make lots of backup's of dvd movie rentals but often times run into discs that are scratched. The first thing I do before making a copy of any disc is to clean it with rubbing alcohol and then use pledge no wax dust cleaner to polish the disc. I then use DVD Decryptor 3.5.4.0 and a Plextor PX-716A to rip the disc to my hard drive. With really ...

( Try to use the IFO mode in DVD decrypter and uncheck chapters or cells that might be problematic...

I do not want to skip the entire chapter of the movie \(using IFO mode\) that contains the damaged \(scratched\) portion of the disc if I do not have to. I want to keep as much of the movie as possible....
