I saw this movie last night, and while it's totally true the first half is better, it still doesn't make it any less great, and some really good parts were still in the second part. Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read) Not sure if I'm just making something out of nothing, but I think they were making fun of the President. When the BnL president was speaking via video it made it seem ...

I saw WALL*E at a prescreen in Chicago tonight. Wonderful, touching movie. It is amazing to me how pixar just keeps coming up with these gems. Having said that, I am not sure how this translates to kids. Much of the film is without dialog, and could be characterized as being a bit slow, especially in the first act. But about 1/3 to a 1/2 through the movie, it really picks up. I ...

I am so excited to see this but am scared to death about the crowds which will be present. The matinee crowd will be all kids (including those far too young to pay attention for 90+ minutes) and the evening crowd will be all teenagers. And since school is out, taking off during the week won't help. Blah - one of the few times I wanted a day/date release to blu-ray.

Interesting how the superfat future humans could barely stand on their feet in the low gravity onboard the AXIOM ship but didn't seem to have much trouble standing upright on Earth...

saw this tonight and was very satisfied. Great humor the usual pixar heart and terrific animation. This years short presto was laugh out of your chair funny. They succeeded in emulating charlie chaplins voice and story quality. I'd say teh humor was turned down a couple notches to enhance the story this time. I found no problem with it but I think kung fu panda illicited more laughs. As for ...

Best Pixar film to date. Adult themed cartoon. Here in Oklahoma where the obesity rate is 1/4 or more of the population I fear this film will result in alot of hate mail. I commend the writter and the producer for having the courage to call it like it is and call us out on it. Out of the whole audience only myself and one other thought the fat/slothe scenes were wickedly funny - I guess ...
