7.9 Earthquake in China kills thousands. | Thread profile

A few days ago China wasn't accepting aid because it has the manpower to deal with the situation, but it's still a slow process. Villages are cut off and nobody has been there since the earthquake. i just saw this on the news....sounds awful. i'm so sorry for all the people who have lost their homes and loved ones...

I saw this on the news this morning....the school part really got it, the way they described it just reminded me of people being pulled from the wreckage on 9/11. It sucks majorly.

They're saying now that it could be upwards of 10,000 victims. Depressing news all over Asia these days. Myanmar, China, India.... Harsh life.

I've been watching this on CNN for days now. This past Monday, I watched the numbers climb from 10 students found, to 50...and on up. Sadly, the thing that hit me hardest was hearing about those buildings collapsing on those kids... Terrifying. Horrifying.
