so incredibly scary what is going on these past several years with natural disasters tsunami, katrina, that volcanic eruption in Chile, tornadoes in the south/midwest here, now this earthquake in China... im scared

As horrible as this is, the overall worldwide sympathy factor always seems a lot less because ROC has so many spares. I find myself being guilty of this as well to be honest...it just has a lot less impact on me than, for example, 10,000 people dying on Hawaii from a volcano eruption in which case I'd be glued to the TV with a box of Kleenex.
