I was thinking why master in Wavelab or Soundforge when you can do same thing in cubase?

Honestly, you can't.. Not even close, and not even Nuendo! I know there is a mastering template, but IMO not a good choice Ola _________________ Ola Moen Musicmill Norway

Try creating crossfades with indidvual track id's and then burning that to cd in cubase or nuendo. I do mastering as far as the audio eqing and compressing and then arrange the tracks orders and any fades and such in wavelab for burning to cd with track titles embedded. _________________ Mac Pro 2.66 Ghz 10.4.9 4 Gig Ram, 2TB, Cubase 4.0.3, Final Cut Studio HD, 2x motu 2408mkIII ...

Good points..... fair enough. Guess quesiton is now WL6 or SF9 I have in paast used both and found SF faster and easier to use. WLab I have used lately v.4. I need import video tracks and make audio adjustments looking at video. I found in SF seelcting and looping area much faster less clicks... Accepting mov files is important as well.

Wavelab 6 is what I use for mastering, however I don't use it for video work. If I was getting audio to link to video I use Wavelab to master the audio and import that file into Pinnacle Studio Plus for the video work.
