I don't think they've been sheltering her specifically to lower the bar for the debate with Biden; I think they've been sheltering her because they know she can't handle the job. She wouldn't have shown herself to be so ignorant during the few interviews she has had, if she had a choice. Teresa

Simply put - I am a life-long Republican who voted only in 2006 for a local Democrat for Congress. Otherwise, I've not supported a Democrat-party candidate. It really comes down to Tax policy. McCain seriously needs to do a better job at explaining the intricacies of tax policy to the American middle class. Iraq/Afghanistan isn't going to be as flexible an issue.
