Seriously, some of House of Mystery, House of Secrets, Tales from the Unexpected, and The Witching Hour were as good as EC stuff. Great cool stories by Berni Wrightson and lots of others. They most certainly could do a "Best of" set, at least. I'm surprised they never did that during the heyday of Gaiman's Sandman stuff.

DC is working on putting all that out. I wish I could find it, but "Previews" ran an ad for the first volume. They're reprinting everything (including ads) in a nice hardcover volume. I would be all over a DC horror compilation. Every once in a while, I buy a cheap lot of reader DC horror comics on ebay. Instant time machine to 1980 when I used to devour Unexpected by the stack, especiallly those 100 page giants in the 1970s.
