They actually have done research and the bottom line is they don't used neutered dogs because MEN decide and set the arbitrary rule for police dogs. NO REASON FOR IT! Dear Dottie So Glad to see you and NO I dont take it personally, what you said. BUT you need to tell the newbie THAT you raise breed and train SHOW chows! NOT JUST FOR FAMILY PETS! For an ordinary person who knows nothing about chows -raising an unfixed male--simply is a problem waiting to happen. You can say the owners of females should be responsible-but that aint the reality when IT happens....
