Pinnock? Role Player or Key Element | Thread profile

Before the acquisition of Hester and Thomas i was sold that Pinnock was an upgrade to LoNeal and set to become an integral piece of the Chargers offense.... His best year was 2004.... see HERE Height: 5' 10" Weight: 250 !!!! Age: 28 (5 Years Experience!) Now it seems like he's just a backup and a situational player.... ...

I think Pinnock will play a key role on the team this year. I think he will be the #1 fullback, he will block for LT, catch occasionally, and be mr short yardage.

Didnt pinnock have a microfracture somewhere? I think pinnock was a great blocker for us when Lo was out and I think it all comes down to how good of a blocker Hester will be..

well now that LONEAL IS GONE I'm sure he's SURE for the job. I doubt if he can ever fill his shoes but let's give the kid a try YA NEVER KNOW.

FB will play a different role in our offense this year. Lo Neal's failure to gain yardage on dump off / short routes signaled his demise as a Bolt (RIP) He was the ultimate run blocker, but Norv does not like to use his FB that way, its a different scheme.
