i have a 2002 ford focus SE...when my car is stopped the engine sounds like it's trying to shut off...i think it may be a vacuum leak cuz this happen before...how much would the part cost or just to get it fixed approximatly...i called the car place and she said it could be pcp cord or something like that she said it was a common problem in this kind of car...so could you please me prices ec......

If it is vacuum leak, then the parts are really cheap (like $1 per feet for vacuum hose and/or PCV valve (abour $5 to $10). The problem for you is finding it. Take a look under to hood with a flash light. And check to see if you can find any broken and leaking hose. Good Luck... P.S. try a local repair shop. They should be able to find and fix it under $50. The dealer will ...
