I watched both yesterday and enjoyed each of them quite a bit. The softee in me certainly appreciated how heartwarming Juno was. Ellen Page fit the free spirit role and as noted on a previous thread, Jennifer Garner was a surprise hit as well. Good story, good film. I was pretty impressed with LMS. Excellent writing imo and several knockout performances (Arkin & Collette esp.). Top ...

It's a default no contest since Juno sucked. But Little Miss Sunshine is fun. So the gap is even wider. nemo me impune lacessit Post Extras:

Interesting comparison question. I also liked both movies. The flaws in Juno, to me, were that it was a little overwritten for the Juno character (a little too knowledgeable and witty) and some elements of the story were underdeveloped. The relationship with the guy who fathered the kid is something I would have liked to see developed a little more. OTH, very nice job with the parents ...

I have not seen juno but unless it is the second coming of LMS than I am going to have to go with LMS. If you didn't leave the movie theatre smiling after that movie than you suck. Post Extras:

Juno was very good and entertaining. I didn't really think it was up there with the movies of the year though. My wife probably disagrees. LMS was one of the best ensemble cast movies you will see. As mentioned the chemistry and comedic timing was outstanding. I really enjoy watching movies like this where the entire cast moves thru the movie together. It really was a journey....
