How do you tune an antenna so that you get the right SWR reading on the channels if the radio doesn't have a calibration?

You can buy a separate SWR meter at Radio Shack, you may find some in the truck stop stores as well but they would be a bit pricier. The instructions for tuning are with the meter.

If you have a CB shop around I suggest you stop by and pay them the few bucks they charge and have them set you up.
