Don't choose your job by how much money you think you'll make. Choose to do what you love. If you do work that you love, it will be like you never really have to work a day in your life. If you hate what you do, the next 40 years of your life will suck. But to answer your question, it depends where you live. A computer engineer in India makes as much as somebody who flips burgers...
