Pessimism 101: most displeased about losing whom? Grier, Dumont, or McKee... which of the three are you most displeased about losing, looking back on it. You choose the reason for the bitterness, be it positional need (McKee), lack of front-office commitment in the players' mind (Grier), etc. We know about DB and Dru. But in hindsight...

Grier, Dumont, or McKee... which of the three are you most displeased about losing, looking back on it. You choose the reason for the bitterness, be it positional need (McKee), lack of front-office commitment in the players' mind (Grier), etc. We know about DB and Dru. The only one I am actually bitter about losing is McKee. Jay was one of the first players I identified with when I became a fan of the team and hockey in general, he had a strong desire to stay with the team and stay in the area, and he basically made a contract offer public (and it was very fair--the Rhett equivalent deal).
