i'm posting on behalf of my elderly retired parents because they've become so disillusioned with their tiscali broadband they've given up complaining. i've asked them to run speed tests over the last couple of months; they normally get speeds up to 2mbps during week days, but in the evenings from around 6pm - 1am they are often getting speeds as low as 13kbps or more often nothing at all! ...

Hi bhoney, Apologies in the delay in getting back to you. Thank you for the speed test results. Can you please try directly to the backplate of the mastersocket (you can do this be removing the 2 screws either side, remove the faceplate to reveal a test socket, connect directly here) please let me know back on this thread how you get on.

hi chris, please reopen the support ticket, i have been away with work, my parents are still complaining of poor speed at peak times, i will visit them in the next few days to run the further tests you require, regards MikeH

Hi, I cant see any errors on 7 day historical line stats, and in the absence of a response regarding re-testing, have now closed the support ticket.
