I think they work for the food network and are part of the staff there. At least that is what I would assume after seeing some of the back ground of the shows.

My husband wonders why they are on the show with him... "I mean, isn't he BOBBY FLY, isn't he like arguably on of the greatest CHEFs in our nation right now? Why does he need two ladies bossing him around on what to make on Throwdown?" I try to get my husband to see that it could be a disaster if they just let Bobby Flay make just anything and try to pass it off as FN quality stuff, but he ...

Everyone needs a sidekick from time-to-time to spice up the show. He'd be talking to himself if they weren't there. I agree as well that he could do this on his own.

I think they are vital to the show. If they weren't there, Flay would add hot peppers to everything. I think Miriam is very fetching-a great smile, sense of humor-she should have her own show
I graduated from the same class as Stephanie from FCI we were friends and practiced recipes together preparing for our finals. She was a good friend. She is very bright with a sharp sense of humor and likes to laugh. She knows food really well, has a good appreciation of it and is a good cook.
